Days

4167m

Max. Altitude

Starting at the village of Aroumd, we begin the ascent to Toubkal base camp (3207m). After a night’s stay at the base camp refuge, we ascend Toubkal to catch the rising of the sun. This is a hard start to a trip but as soon as the hard climb is over, you are then transported to the emerging warm sands of Morocco. Experience the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, the filming location of Gladiator; the ‘Road of a thousand Kasbahs’ to Ouarzazate, and  a huge palmery containing over four million palm trees, edged by many fortified villages to name but a few locations we pass on this trip – not to mention the camel treks, the starry nights spent in the desert and the many Kasbahs along our way.
